RaisedinLagosNigeria,DayoOkeniyi(Pronounced:Die-oOkay-ni-yii)beganactingintheatreathiselementaryschool.In2003,Okeniyi,theyoungestoffivesiblings,movedfromNigeriawithhisfamilytotheUnitedStates.Hisfather,nowaretiredcustomsofficerandmother,aBritishliteratureteacher,wereadamantthattheirchildrenreceiveaneducationintheUnitedStates.DayoOkeniyireceivedaBachelor'sdegreeofvisualcommunicationsdesignin2009.AfterCollegehedecidedtomovetoLosAngelestopursueacting,histruepassion.
