AmemberofthesameloosegroupofstudentradicalsasAnneWiazemsky,shefirstappearedinJean-LucGodard'sTwoorThreeThingsIKnowAboutHer,andwouldgoontoappearinmanyofGodard'ssubsequentfilms,includingLaChinoise,WeekEnd,LeGaiSavoir,andVladimiretRosa.ShelaterbecameamusefortheFrenchNewWavedirectorJacquesRivette,starringinOut1andCelineandJulieGoBoating.
Inthe1980sshealsobecameascreenwriterandfilmdirector.HerfilmCapCanaille(1983)wasenteredintothe33rdBerlinInternationalFilmFestival.[1]In1987,shewasamemberofthejuryatthe37thBerlinInternationalFilmFestival.[2]
