Nolenmadehismusicaltheatredebutinthesummerof2017attheageof9,playingthemischievousMichaelBanksinMaryPoppins(TheatreUndertheStars)whichresultedinanOvationAwardnominationandhisfirstJoeyAward.NolenthenplayedthelovableChipinDisney'sBeautyandtheBeast,followedbyJohnBechdelinthecritically-acclaimedFunHome(ArtsClubTheatreCompany).HeearnedhissecondJoeyAwardforthelatter.Shortlyafterthis,NolenfulfilledhischildhooddreamofbystarringasthetitlecharacterinBillyElliottheMusical(StratfordFestival).Heearnedravereviewsfromaudiencesandcriticsalikeandprovedhisstatusasatruetriplethreatthroughouthis119performances.
